Railfan's Guide is a joint venture between Rail Town Productions and Trains Camera Action, aimed at providing videos and other resources to share railway information and knowledge.

Trains Camera Action is led by Stephen Whitaker, a highly experience and professional photographer. Trains Camera Action provides photographic services dedicated to railways that are an unrivalled quality and this has been recognised through established working relationships with railway operators and print publications.
Rail Town Productions
Rail Town Productions is led by Anthony Evans, who is widely recognised as one of the leading Railfans in Queensland and Australia. Rail Town Productions provides an extensive scope of railway videos through its YouTube channel, while also providing a range of regular photographic and literary contributions to Railway Digest magazine, prepared by the Australian Railway Historical Society

Big T - Tyler's Tasmania Trains is a project of Tyler Meiklejohn who has been involved with railways and model railways since a young age. Railways run in his family and his passion is bespoke and custom built model railways. He is currently building an extensive On30 layout.

Through RailTrail Queensland, Aiden produces engaging rail-based educational content and original soundtracks that capture the rhythm and atmosphere of modern transit systems. Aiden has quickly risen to become a critical part of Railfan Network - Queensland.

Gold status provides a contributor the ability to work in partnership with the Railfan Network Members to build the network, its products and benefits.
Gold status provides a contributor with access to the following additional benefits (in addition to Silver and Bronze status benefits):
- An automatic 15% (or more) discount on all products across Railfan Roundhouse's lifestyle store, gallery and model shop using a personal discount code. This discount is exclusive to this level and will not be provided to the public.
- The ability to order custom products including your own details, features and lettering.
- Potential paid or subsidised railfanning where required to assist in the production of products for Railfan's Roundhouse or Railfan's Guide.
- Direct promotion of your social media accounts as a contributor of Railfan Network.

Silver status provides a contributor the ability to provide photographs and video for consideration by the Railfan Network Members that will likely be regularly used for new products.
Silver status provides a contributor with access to the following additional benefits (in addition to Bronze status benefits):
- An automatic 5% discount on all products available across Railfan Roundhouse's lifestyle store, gallery and model shop using a generic discount code.
- A personalised contributor space for managing and submitting content.
- Exclusive contributor only products
- Exclusive contributor only offers and discounts
Note: Elevation of a contributor to Silver status will be require the contributor to be a party to a contributor agreement between Whitaker Group Pty Ltd t/a Railfan Network and themselves, which will govern their behaviour during their role as a Railfan contributor. A copy of the proposed contributor agreement can be provided to any Bronze status contributor upon request.

Bronze status provides a contributor with the ability to join the Railfan Network and access the knowledge of its members and contributors. Photographs and video can also be provided at special request for consideration by the Railfan Network Members. Providing content will improve your potential to be elevated to Silver status.
Bronze status provides a contributor access to:
- The contributor chats for all States within which you are active, where contributors discuss all things railways, providing an opportunity to meet like minded people.
- The contributor groups for all States within which you are active, where Railfan's provide information to support railfanning
- Direct access to the Railfan Network Founding Members, including their extensive resource and knowledge bases, extending across Australia.

We are currently in the process of finalising a specific contributor level for people under 15 years old.
Junior status provides a contributor with a tailored suite of benefits based on their specific circumstances and age. The consideration of contributions by people under 15 years will factor in their age, noting they are unlikely to have access to the same level of finances or resources as other contributors.
